Paulding County

Paulding County, the 87th county created in the state, was formed from part of Cherokee County. It was named after John Paulding, a soldier in the Revolutionary War who helped capture Major Andre, an accomplice in Benedict Arnold’s plot to overthrow the nation. Paulding county is the neighboring county to the west of Cobb county. Home Buyers are attracted to Paulding county for it's affordable housing (less expensive than Cobb county) and newer construction. The price ranges can vary greatly by location in Paulding. North Paulding

This is a sought after fast growing part of Paulding county that includes mega neighborhoods like Bentwater and Seven Hills that offer new construction. With about a 45 minute commute to parts of downtown ATL make it a feasible trek to work. North Paulding is mainly located South of Hwy 41 and North of Hwy 120 between Hwy 61 and Hwy 92. This area is in the North Paulding High School District

East Paulding

This is a conveniently located section of Paulding that lies near Dallas Hwy (Hwy 120) that borders Cobb County. With quick access to Cobb shopping like the West Cobb avenues and located just minutes from the Marietta Square, make this a destination worth looking into. Homes for sale in East Paulding are pretty affordable with some new construction still available. This area is in the East Paulding High School District.

Middle Paulding

This is the most affordable area of Paulding but is somewhat limited in price ranges. Most homes for sale in this area are in the $100k's. However there are not too many executive style homes in this area. This area is in the Paulding High School District.

South Paulding

If you need to be close to I-20 W then this area is the most conveniently located. It's about 6 miles from I-20. This area is the next on the map to be further developed. With subdivisions like the Georgian, (the Sister community to Seven Hills in North P) this area is bound to grow in the coming years. Homes for sale in this area range from $100k's-$600k which give it a broader appeal. It is has some conveniences like a Publix but is lacking in major shopping. The nearest mall in Douglasville is about 20 minutes away. Shopping on 278 in Hiram is also a 20 minute drive. This area is in the South Paulding High School District.
